September, the proclaimed season of leaves changing colours, cozy knits, new beginnings, leather jacket weather, and the damn pumpkin spice latte. Not that I’m any better, I’m guilty of saying on more than one occasion that “spooky season is when I come alive,” and that fall is truly the “best season for fashion.”
For me, this fall seems to be the first I’m embracing eagerly, and willingly. For those crisp mornings, beanies to cover those bad hair days, and yes, the pumpkin chai, because we all know its way better than the actual pumpkin spice latte.
As Fitzgerald so eloquently puts it, “life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.”
I’ve been experiencing lots of changes in my personal life. I’ve officially moved out of my parents place and am living with two of my friends (follow our adventures on Instagram @anastacia.jido), among many other shifts and new beginnings in my life (that I’ll share closer to the official announcement). I’ve spent the last few months really taking time to evaluate what I want out of this thing we called life. Cliché, I know.
I promise to share more, most likely in October, but until then, enjoy my melancholic playlist and mood board filled with all of those cozy knits and fashion inspo. Here’s to celebrating fall and all of its clichés.
